The Montessori curriculum was developed by Dr. Maria Montessori. Her work was inspired by Dr. Jean Marc Itard and Dr. Edouard Sequin, famous doctors considered grandfathers of special education. All three doctors have contributed to the Montessori curriculum which is steeped in research for children with special needs.
Michelle blended the methods of the Montessori curriculum with the tools of Applied Behaviour Analysis, created by Dr. B.F.
